A Different View
A few frames from inside the VAB during the lift and mate of Space shuttle Endeavour (OV-105) to the ET and SRB stack. I’ll post polaroids that I’ve shot of both this event and the launch of Space shuttle Discovery in the coming weeks.
You really get a sense for how big the space shuttle truly is as it is lifted above you in the VAB.

I decided to hang around Florida for a few more days to shoot the transfer of Endeavour from OPF-2 to the VAB. Headed back to Missouri tomorrow, then back to Florida this weekend for the landing of Discovery and then the roll-out to the pad of Endeavour.
