I shot rugby for the first time yesterday and had a blast.  It took me a little while to figure out the flow of the game, but once I got that down it was a lot of fun to shoot.

The above photo was shot on a Canon 1D Mk IV, I’ve got one for a little while on loan from CPS.  For those interested it was shot with a  300 2.8 + 1.4TC with the camera set at  1/2500 f/4 @ 400ISO.

So here’s a bit of a blast from the past.  I shot these photos way back at the beginning of the year for my Advanced Techniques class and finally sent them off to be developed.  It’s nothing too exciting, just a studio shoot.
