Space Shuttle Discovery’s Last Days at KSC

I was lucky enough to spend a large chunk of the past year down at the Kennedy Space Center documenting the final flights of the Space Shuttle Program. Once again I hopped in my car and made the trip down South for Discovery’s (OV-103) final journey from KSC to the Udvar-Hazy Center of the Smithsonian Institution’s National Air and Space Museum in Chantilly, Va.

NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Regionals – Champaign, Ill.

Took the short drive down to the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign this past weekend for an NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Regional. Gymnastics has always been one of my favorite sports to shoot, I’m glad I got the chance to before the season finished up this year.

NCAA Wrestling Nationals – Day Three

On the final day of wrestling in St. Louis I didn’t really have an agenda, I was free to play around a little more than usual. I was able to snag spots to shoot the 133lb and heavyweight championship matches from the floor and spent the rest of the time hanging out in the tunnel where the wrestlers were staged prior to their matches. Penn State handily won their second team title in as many years.

I made the trip down to St. Louis, Mo. for this year’s NCAA Wrestling Championships at the Scottrade Center. Missouri took all ten staters to the national tournament for the first time in school history. After day one, three were left in the championship bracket.

Occupying a Tuesday Night

After something that I don’t think can really be called winter, the occupy movement here in Chicago is trying to organize marches again. This one, on Feb. 28, attracted around 30 people or so.
