The Tigers came through with another come from behind victory over Iowa on Sunday afternoon to advance to a Super Regional.  Missouri makes the trip down to Tuscaloosa to face Alabama in a best-of-three series.
I haven’t heard yet if I’ll be able to make the trip down or not yet, but I’m being optimistic.

The Tigers took on Iowa in the 2nd game of the day  at the regional being hosted in Iowa City, IA.  Missouri pulled off an 8th inning victory after tying the game in the 7th at 2-2.
Lindsey Ubrun propelled the Tigers to victory with a walk-off home run.  
Now it’s on to face Long Beach State tomorrow at noon.

Missouri takes on host team Iowa in a 7:30pm match up.  This game marks the second night game that I’ve shot all season, with the other also coming on the road in St Louis, MO.

A few more images from the NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals along with a pano.  Overall this was a fun weekend.  I’ll definitely be making the trip back to Cedar Falls for next year’s duals.  Well now it’s back to Columbia, MO for second semester later this week, with gymnastics and men’s basketball coming up this weekend.

With Missouri out of the tournament I was able to have a little bit of fun and look for a bit of a different angle.  I didn’t even take any long glass with me, just my 24-70 and 16-35.  Iowa ended up winning after defeating Michigan and Nebraska in the final rounds.

Missouri lost it’s second straight dual of the day to Northwestern in a match that once again came down to the heavyweight battle.  Missouri is now out of the tournament, which means a relaxing day tomorrow.
One thing I really liked about this match was the fact that it was on a mat that was largely white.  The light reflected up did away with most of the shadows and the photos were nice and bright.

Missouri faced and was defeated by Iowa and dropped to the consolation bracket.  They moved on to wrestle Northwestern at 5pm.

Missouri moved onto the second round at the 2008 NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals here in Cedar Falls, IA with a 22-18 victory over Indiana.  The match came down to the final minutes with the heavyweight battle deciding the victor.
Now it’s on to face Iowa at about 3 pm.

The drive out was un-eventful except for the sighting of a police officer sitting in a Chevy Avalanche, no I’ve seen quite a few different police vehicles, but this Chevy Avalanche, that was a first.
