A nice line of storms moved through Missouri this evening. I couldn’t resist heading out to make some lightning photos. My friend Patrick Fallon and I headed north of Columbia and found a nice spot on a backroad. This probably wasn’t the safest trip, but it was fun to just make photos for ourselves for a change.
I shot all of these at one second f/2.8 and 3200ISO with a fisheye lens.
No lightning strikes? I suppose there is a pocket of lightning in the middle of #2. Almost did the same thing myself, but I just got back into town today and have been dragging. Plus I didn’t want to get electrocuted. Thanks for taking the risk for me!
