June, 2008 Archives

Well I didn’t make it out to NCAA Track this year as I had originally planned on.   I decided to deviate from my original plans and make new ones.  I’m headed out to LA in a few weeks for two days to visit a friend and take lots of pictures.

I’m hoping to update soon with some stuff that I’ve shot while I’m home and be sure to check back for posts from LA.

The canal boat that has been in the works for La Salle, IL finally arrived today.  The boat arrived at the park on a tractor-trailer and was picked up and lowered into the canal with a crane.

The vessel is named The Volunteer and will begin taking patrons on an approximately hour long cruse on the I&M Canal beginning at the end of the month.

Death Cab for Cutie came to Chicago tonight and played an amazing show at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion.  Thankfully the rain that was suppose to happen came in the morning and not this evening.

Up next is a trip back down to Missouri to visit some friends and for another concert in Chicago.  For now it’s back to work tomorrow.
