Day one of the Tom Botts Invite when pretty well today. Â The track events that were scheduled for today were moved to tomorrow because of the high wind along with the pole vault.
I set up a remote for the long jump today which worked pretty good.  I need to move it next time I try it, the background needs to be a little cleaner…  I tried a remote for the women’s javelin too, but I didn’t focus it correctly and all the images were OOF…
Tomorrow it’s back to track for day two and all of the running events and then to either baseball or softball.
I think I’ll simply call this one jazz hands.
I’m off to the Tom Botts track & field invitational in a few hours. Â The track events that were scheduled for today have been moved to tomorrow due to high winds, so only the field events are being contested.
This should be fun, at least it isn’t oppressively hot.

I took a trip with the Missouri Softball team today to St. Louis to see them face SLU in the last non-conference series of the season.  The Tigers won both games, the first was a little closer than would have been liked (7-6), but in the second game the Tigers defeated SLU 14-0 in 5 innings.
The weather was definitely a little bit colder than I had anticipated and I wish I would have taken a warmer jacket and gloves with me, but it was still a fun trip.
