April, 2008 Archives

Today is the annual Black and Gold football game.  This year’s game is being featured live on ESPNU.  The weather cooperated by kick off and it’s no longer raining.

Here’s an early favorite from the pre-game activities.

Way back on Wednesday, Missouri took on William Woods in a midweek game.  The Tiger’s came out on top 16-9 in a game where senior Jacob Priday became the new leader in career home runs with 46.

This was a very long game with countless pitching changes on both sides, on the upside the weather was beautiful and it didn’t cool off too much the later into the evening it went.
Up next is the annual spring football black and gold game tomorrow.  It’s being broadcast live on ESPNU, so it should be pretty sweet.

The Tiger’s faced arch rival Kansas today in a double header at University Field.  The Tiger’s swept the Jayhawks in the afternoon series.

I started out this morning at an awards banquet which was followed by the team photo for softball and then a baseball game at 6:30 pm.  I stuck around after the team photo and shot the first game of the double header before heading over to baseball.
Check back tomorrow for a baseball update…
