In Missouri you have to be ready for anything at the weather can throw at you.  A few weeks ago I shot softball in a steady sleet/freezing rain.  Today’s softball game against Baylor was called after one full inning because of rain.  Now I look out my window and see blue skies.

I can only hope that the weather cooperates when I head West on Tuesday as Missouri takes on Kansas in baseball in Kansas City.  It should be fun covering a game at a pro stadium, hooray real shooting positions.

Missouri started their final home series off with an 8-2 victory over Baylor this afternoon.  The second to last home game saw junior Andee Allen hit her first home run of the season.

The Tigers take on Baylor for one final time tomorrow beginning at noon. Tomorrows final home game also marks senior day for two seniors who have contributed much to the team over the years.

This is suppose to be Jeremy Maclin and Truman celebrating a touchdown early in the first half of the Black and Gold game, instead it came out looking like Truman is getting decked.

This is a really light week home sports wise.  The only events are two softball games against Baylor this Saturday and Sunday.
