The Tigers faced Bradley this afternoon in a double header.  Missouri stood to tie the longest win streak with a victory in the first game, but fell short in the first game.  The Tigers avenged the loss with a 6-0 shutout in the second game.

This was the first real test that I’ve given the Mk III that I’ve rented and it performed wonderfully.  Though on AI SERVO there were some tracking issues, not all of the images in the series were in focus, but thats a pretty well known issue.  I can’t wait to see what it does inside at high ISO.
I’m off to St Louis tomorrow night for the second session of the first day of NCAA Wrestling Nationals.

I went out tonight and played around a little with the 14 2.8 and Mk III that I’ve rented for the week.  All I can say right now is, wow.  I’m impressed at the image quality, especially at high ISO.  Though it seems like my Mk II focuses just a little bit better in low light…  The true test will come with softball tomorrow.  With the weather the way its been, there is a definite possibility that the games will once again be moved inside.

Though ISO 2500 would be pretty awesome in the Dan Devine Pavilion…

The Tigers took on North Dakota State for the second time this weekend early this afternoon.  Foul weather forced the game inside, but the Tigers came out on top 9-1.

I’m done shooting for the weekend, but on Monday I get the Mk III that I’ve rented, so stay tuned for updates on that and a bit of a review.
Looking into next week, it’s pretty busy with baseball and softball both have numerous games and then at the end of the week it’s off to St Louis for the NCAA Division I Wrestling National Championships.  This Friday is also the final home gymnastics meet and I’ve got an 85 1.2L coming to play with.
