The Tigers lost in a closely contested meet to Oklahoma tonight.

I had a little bit of fun tonight shooting bars and beam with just my 300 and I came with with a few nice images.  Tonight was also the first time this season that the Tigers are being shown on TV.  The meet was taped and will be broadcast at a later date, so one of the things I had to do tonight was try to come up with an image illustrating this.
Tomorrow it’s back to the Hearnes Center for the Missouri All-Comers indoor meet and then possibly over to men’s basketball against Colorado.

The Tigers faced Kansas State today and fell 56-39 this afternoon.  Today was the Pink Out game, which had players of both teams sporting pink shoelaces and shooting shirts, as part of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association’s efforts in raising breast cancer awareness.  Part of the proceeds of the game went to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

This week marks the home opener of softball with a double-header against UMKC, I can only hope that the weather is ok and the game is held outside instead of inside…

Another day of swimming and a few more broken records.  Katie Hoff broke the American 200m LC Freestyle record putting in a time of 1:56.08, later in the day she toppled the US Open record in the 400m IM.

Out of all of the swimming events, by far the IM and Breaststroke are my favorites to shoot.  The swimmers always have great expressions on their faces and the IM give the opportunity to get shots of every stroke.
This concludes a long weekend of shooting swimming for me.  It’s off to shoot Women’s Basketball at about 2:30 this afternoon.
