I went downtown yesterday to do a little bit of Christmas shopping and to wander around and take some pictures. Â Even though it was a little hazy most of the day, the light was amazing.
It was nice to be in Millennium Park in the middle of the day and not have it be crawling with people. Â

This was looking south from Wacker Drive, just to the west of the Hard Rock Hotel.
I was hoping there’d be at least a little ice on the lake, but I guess I’ll have to make another trip up after the harbor freezes over a bit.
