Discovery (OV-103) is towed towards the Udvar-Hazy Center of the Smithsonian Institution’s National Air and Space Museum in Chantilly, Va. on Thursday, April 19, 2012 for permanent public display.
I was lucky enough to spend a large chunk of the past year down at the Kennedy Space Center documenting the final flights of the Space Shuttle Program. Once again I hopped in my car and made the trip down South for Discovery’s (OV-103) final journey from KSC to the Udvar-Hazy Center of the Smithsonian Institution’s National Air and Space Museum in Chantilly, Va.
